Biomedical Nano-Engineering Laboratory

The Wilhelm Lab is affiliated with the Stephenson School of Biomedical Engineering (SBME) at the University of Oklahoma (OU).

Our lab space is in Gallogly Hall at the OU Norman Campus.

Our research interests include the engineering and designing of nanomaterials for use in biomedical applications and clinical translation.

Presentation Award to Nathan Donahue

March 2020 – Congratulations to our Ph.D. student Nathan Donahue on winning a presentation award at the Oklahoma Microscopy Society Annual Meeting for his talk “Characterizing and Fine-tuning Nanomaterials for Biomedical Applications”.

BE4NANO DAY 2020

March 2020 – High School Junior students from the Caddo-Kiowa Technology Center in Fort Cobb visited our lab as part of the 1st BE4NANO DAY to learn more about our bionanotechnology research, college admission, and the University of Oklahoma.

BE4NANO – Visit of Paoli High School

February 2020 – We visited Paoli High School as part of our “Bionanotechnology Engagement for Native Americans in Oklahoma” BE4NANO outreach and education initiative. Thank you for the invitation!
